Thurnschall Ruins in Lessach
You can read many of the legends which swirl about the Thurnschall Weibl in “Winkelwelt”, a book of Lungau legends available in book stores (in German).
The Lungau Culture Path leads right past Thurnschall ruins on its way to Lessach.
A structure chronicled all the way back in the 13th century, the 8 m-high ruins of the west tower can still be seen today, hinting at the irregular footprint of the former fortress .
