Fairy tale trail for small children in Göriach
The fairy tale trail with characters from the world of fairy tales is located 300 m past the town limits in the forest next to the Fischerhütte farm, where a playground with a trampoline is also awaiting the kids.

Adventure hiking for kids in Lessach
Suitable for small children and strollers!
A water mill, dam, Smelling Station, barefoot path, learning about the trees, exploration at a mystical hut, a birdcall listening station – everything is here!
There is also an excellent playground at the Wildbachhütte.
Then recharge your batteries at the 38 energy cones at the foot of the Gumma! If you walk from the Wildbachhütte ca. 300 m northeast, you can begin to see the tops of them at the foot of the Gumma at an elevation of 2,315m .

Taurachbahn narrow-gauge railway
Austria's highest narrow-gauge railway.
It was over 20 years ago that Club 760 completed extensive renovations to this stretch of line and began operation of the Taurachbahn narrow-gauge railway as a local tourist attraction.

The Murtalbahn
Whether in the imperial hunting carriage or in the fairytale carriage – a ride on the Murtalbahn with its historical steam locomotive promises an adventure for everyone! And if you want, you can take your bike with you and ride along the Mur Bike Path back to the Lungau. The trains and buses of the Murtalbahn run daily every 2 hours, also offering good connections to and from Vienna, Graz, Klagenfurt and most villages in the Lungau and Murau regions, from the towns of Tamsweg, Murau and Unzmarkt.

Katschberg Adventure Park
At the adventure park (forest high-ropes course) it’s all about skill, overcoming fears, courage, and fun. Moving from platform to platform, you encounter different challenge stations constructed from wood and ropes, each demanding the highest concentration and coordination in order for visitors to overcome them. An absolute highlight is the Flying Fox Park, where adventure-seekers soar through the air on zip lines. The highest point is 10 m above the ground.
The high-ropes course on the Katschberg in St. Michael is not only a great challenge for lone warriors but also for families, schools, clubs, and entire businesses looking to strengthen team spirit and mutual trust.

Segway – the trendy new sport on the Katschberg in St. Michael
The Segway X2 is classified as a bicycle but is battery-operated and goes 20 km/h. It’s important to maintain balance and set the speed of the Segway by shifting your weight.

Crushing mill with adventure playground in Ramingstein
Visitors to the crushing mill in Ramingstein can play the role of small miners and learn how ore was mined in the past.
Alpine animal park "Almdorf Lungau" in St. Margarethen
Here, at 1300 m above sea level, you can observe red deer, sika deer and ibex at close range. A special highlight is the feeding at ca. 4:00 pm. The landlord from Gasthof Schlögelberger looks forward to your visit and to pampering you with various wild game and other delicacies. From the sunny terrace, you have one of the most beautiful views of Murtal valley.
