The sun-drenched high basin of the Lungau, lying there at an elevation of over 1,000 m above sea level, is a paradise for cyclists. Very much in the shape of a star, like the spokes of a wheel, the romantic side valleys of the Lungau radiate outwards, and are just waiting to be explored by you.

Family-friendly bike routes are there to be discovered, as are compelling cross-country adventures sure to appeal to ambitious bikers with a competitive streak. And numerous outdoor cafes and restaurants along the way, as well as country inns and alpine huts, open their arms to bikers and serve up a wonderful selection of specialties from the Lungau region!

If you prefer not to bring your own bike along from home, the region also has many rental opportunities available to you.
