Guided Star Hike
As so often in summer, this community hike begins at dusk, shortly after sunset, meeting at the Ludlalm car park. Especially impressive: seeing the sky grow steadily darker above your head and gradually observing the stars emerge in the night sky.
In summertime, this hike gives you a spectacular opportunity to look up into the heart of the Milky Way. You will also be able to marvel at the biggest planet in our solar system, Jupiter.
Guided mountain flower hiking weeks
From Monday, 26.06.2023 to Friday, 07.07.2023
Discover the colorful variety of flowers in the Lungau mountains during the guided mountain flower hiking weeks of the TVB Salzburger Lungau Katschberg.
- Meeting point from Monday to Friday always at 09.00 at the bus stop, opposite the Musikhaus in St. Michael.
- Incl. shuttle bus to the hiking starting points
- accompanied by a certified hiking guide
- pleasant final evening with awarding of the hiking pin (always on Fridays)
- Short information evening always on Sunday at 20.00 o'clock in front of the TVB office St. Michael.

Guided hikes on the adventure mountain Grosseck-Speiereck
As part of the free activity program of the adventure mountain Grosseck-Speiereck, a guided hike around the Speiereck (Speiereckrunde) takes place every Friday from 03 July to 01 September 2023.
Summit experience at 2,400 meters with a unique panoramic view in all directions. The ascent of the guided, sporty hike leads over the south side of St. Michael and down over the Oberfeldscharte to the Grosseck. You can find all the information in the activity program Erlebnisberg Grosseck-Speiereck.
Guided family hike with Wurzi, the forest witch
Wurzi, the forest witch, leads families on a hike that's literally "child's play" through magical Passeggenwald in St. Andrä.
On this journey of the imagination through this forest teeming with witches, the youngsters will learn all about the world of nature spirits. In addition to hearing tales about sorcerers, imps and elves, the youngsters will also have the opportunity to learn and try out a few magic spells!
But beware: Only those who first pass Wurzi's "trial of courage" will be able to set out on this exciting expedition!

Likewise in popular Riedingtal Nature Park in Zederhaus, you have a wide range of opportunities for guided hikes , surrounded by the mighty summits of the Tauern mountains and along the banks of the magical Schlierersee.

Morning hike with breakfast on the alpine pastures on the Fanningberg.
From 02.07. until 10.09.2023, the guided hike with hiking guide to the Fanninghöhe takes place every Thursday at 06.00.
- 06.00 - 07.00 a.m.: ascent with the Samson cable car
- 06.00: Guided hike (meeting point valley station Samsonbahn)
- afterwards: breakfast in one of the participating huts

Every Wednesday from 14 June to 20 September 2023. From Obertauern to Hinterweißpriach past the four beautiful mountain lakes "Twenger Almsee", "Schönalmsee", "Lacken" & "Wirpitschsee".
- Walking time: 4,5 h
