Lungau railway experience

in Salzburg's Lungau

Taurachbahn

The Taurachbahn is Austria's highest narrow-gauge railway, and thanks to the initiative of Club 750, who leased the line in 1982, the historical steam locomotive runs through the Taurach valley in Salzburg's Lungau region from Mauterndorf to St. Andrä and back between June and September. Children's prams/strollers can be transported in the luggage car for free.

The impressions you take home with you will be unforgettable.
