Our family-run alpine village on the Fanningberg with its unique location at 1,500 meters above sea level is truly a place of contrasts. A vacation experience in and with nature – a hiking and mountain experience far off the crowds and away from mass tourism, a skiing vacation without crowded gondolas and slopes.
Our Almdorf Omlach with 12 charming comfort chalets is nestling between beautiful alpine meadows and mountain peaks. In order to ensure our vacation guests to escape daily life routines, we – Katharina and Andreas – take care of as many everyday activities as possible during your stay: We offer a comfortable breakfast, whether in your chalet with your loved ones or together in the main house.
"You can do everything, you don't have to do anything " is our motto when it comes to cooking and eating. In our small village store, we serve homemade and freshly prepared food in the jar – just heat it up and everyone has their favorite dish at the table. Barbecuing on the sun terrace, a cozy raclette evening in the chalet, or rather rattling the pots and pans on your own – everything is possible!
In winter the slopes on the doorstep, in summer the cows, chicken, and rabbits at the nearby Kräutlalm – unforgettable vacation experiences for the whole family are guaranteed.
Katharina & Andreas
Discovering nature without harming it is our Almdorf Omlach philosophy.
Katharina – certified nature and outdoor trainer, loves to explore the surroundings with her guests. Whether it is a workout in the forest or a guided hike, where you can also learn interesting facts about the local natural and medicinal herbs.
Andreas – a passionate beekeeper, likes to talk about his busy bees and of course lets those with a sweet tooth taste a wide variety of honey products.
With passion for what we do, a lot of love as well as our close affinity to nature, we want to create a special place of contrasts for our guests.
