When a family atmosphere is combined with a down-to-earth ambience - and when you are greeted with a genuine smile, then you have arrived: here at the Löckerwirt. Our business comprises a restaurant, a hotel and an active organic farm and is located in the heart of the Lungau in Salzburg - St. Margarethen! Both big and small guests feel at home in our house - and we love that!

Our motto?

This sentence was created in a fun round with our ingenious team and accompanies us day in and day out!
We love what we do - that makes our "work" a very special one - and our guests feel it.

We appreciate it when lovely, positive-thinking & pleasant guests spend their valuable vacation days in our family-run business and are happy to do our very best to provide a wonderful quality time!

Get to know your hosts

Leo
is the head of the family business.
Leo graduated from the Kleßheim tourism school in Salzburg and gained a lot of experience in Austria and Switzerland. After successfully training as a bank employee (as a second educational path), his passion for gastronomy drew him "back to the roots", where he joined his parents' business as the successor in 2013 and took over just a few years later. For him, gastronomy means: "Making people happy in what I do and giving them a little bit of friendship."

Tina
is the heart of the family business.
As a qualified nursery school teacher, she worked in her profession for many years until she decided to join the Löckerwirt family business in 2015 for love (Leo was his name). She quickly discovered the joy of her new profession and the ideal area of responsibility for her in the company. For Tina, gastronomy means: "Fulfillment! It just makes me so happy to see smiling, happy faces early in the morning!"
