When a familiar atmosphere meets a down-to-earth ambience, and when you are greeted with a genuine smile, then you have well arrived at the Löckerwirt. Our business comprises a restaurant, a hotel, and an active organic farm and is located in the heart of the Salzburg Lungau region - in St. Margarethen! Both old and young feel at home in our house – and we love that!

This saying was coined on a really funny evening with our ingenious team, and ever since it accompanies us day in and day out!
We love what we do – that makes our "work" a very special one, and our guests can feel that.

We appreciate it when lovely, positive-thinking & pleasant guests spend their valuable vacation days in our family-run business and we are happy to do our very best to provide a wonderful quality time!

Get to Know Your Hosts

Leo
is the head of the family business.
Leo graduated from the Kleßheim tourism school in Salzburg and gained a lot of experience in Austria and Switzerland. After his successful training as a bank employee (second educational path), his passion for gastronomy drew him "back to the roots", where he joined his parents' business as their successor in 2013 and took over just a few years later. For him, gastronomy means: "Making people happy by my daily work and giving them a little bit of friendship."

Tina
is the heart of the family business.
As a qualified nursery school teacher, she worked in her profession for many years until she decided to join the Löckerwirt family business in 2015 for love reasons (Leo was his name). She quickly discovered the joy and passion for her new profession and the ideal area of responsibility for her within the business. For Tina, gastronomy means, "Fulfillment! It just makes me so happy to see smiling, happy faces early in the morning!"
