On 27 June 2026, the Lungauer Tauernkrone will take place – a true sporting highlight in Salzburger Lungau.
The trail running and hiking event is aimed at ambitious runners as well as hiking enthusiasts, Nordic walkers and families. Set amidst the impressive mountain scenery of the Niedere Tauern, the focus is on experiencing nature, staying active and sharing special moments together.
What to expect?
The Lungauer Tauernkrone combines sporting challenge with alpine enjoyment. Depending on your personal ambition, you can choose from various routes and formats. From short, scenic panoramic trails to demanding trail running distances with plenty of elevation gain, there is a suitable option for every performance level.
