The Mur Cycle Path – from Salzburg to Styria

The Mur, Austria's second largest river, has its source in the Salzburg Lungau region and accompanies you along one of the most beautiful cycle paths in Austria. The Mur Cycle Path covers 365 kilometers from the Lungau region through the Land of Styria to the Styrian spa region close to the Slovenian border.

Two cyclists ride along a winding dirt path in a lush, mountainous valley with scattered trees under a cloudy sky.

From the picturesque Alps to gentle rolling hills, you will experience a varied journey along the water flow. Charming places, cultural highlights, and culinary delights make every stage an unforgettable experience.
