The Lungauer Tauernkrone is an incomparable hiking and trail running route in the Niedere Tauern. At 108 kilometers and with 8,000 meters of altitude difference, it leads through a breathtaking mountain landscape that inspires with its diversity.
Along the route, 18 serviced huts with genuine alpine cuisine and 16 crystal-clear mountain lakes invite you to enjoy the unforgettable panorama. The Lungau Tauernkrone is not only a highlight for trail runners, but also ideal for families and leisure hikers, as it can be hiked or run in seven stages.
A particular highlight
is collecting points via the Summitlynx app at the checkpoints along the route. With enough points, you can secure the bronze Lungauer Tauernkrone Hike & Trail hiking pin. Silver or gold - an indispensable souvenir for unforgettable days in the mountains.
At the Lungau Tourist Office - Tamsweg information point you will receive a surprise on presentation of your certificate.
