Beginners and families with small children will find ideal conditions for carefree days of skiing at the small lift facilities of the Salzburg Lungau region.
The Salzburg Lungau region also offers family-friendly small lift facilities which are ideal for beginners and young skiers. These small-sized ski areas offer easy slopes and a relaxed atmosphere – perfect for making your first turns in the snow.
The small lifts are included in the Skipass LUNGO and SkiLungau and are located in Lessach, Schönfeld, St. Michael and in the nature park municipality Zederhaus.
The Lessach ski club operates a 550-meter-long T-bar lift with blue and red pistes, which are also suitable for company, school and private races. Directly in the valley area, a cozy Liftstüberl invites you to stop for a bite to eat.
The 700-meter-long T-bar lift offers an FIS slalom slope that is particularly suitable for racing events and training sessions.
The lift can be reached in just a few minutes from the Zederhaus highway exit. The 500-meter-long T-bar lift takes you up to an altitude of 1,250 meters. Two downhill routes guarantee fun on the slopes for beginners and advanced skiers – without long waiting times. Car parks and a lift bar at the valley station round off the offer.
Away from mass tourism, Schönfeld offers the best conditions for experienced skiers, beginners, and children alike with the 600-meter-long Mattehanslift and the 120-meter-long Magic Carpet.
