In Mauterndorf, you have the opportunity to take a guest ride in a ballon and gaze down in wonder on the Lungau from a bird's eye perspective. With a little bit of luck, the weather might even allow you to float all the way across the Alps to Slovenia or Italy. In that case, too, as free as a bird you will be able to marvel at the vast expanse of Alpine landscapes far below.

Balloon rides in Lungau are offered at a special price of
- € 279,- per person (rides above the valley) and
- € 320,- per person (for full Apine crossings)
