It is important to point out that, despite all the technology and equipment in the world, it is only your accurate assessment of potential danger based on careful observation of nature, information from experienced locals, hut hosts, mountain guides etc., that can minimize any risk of accidents.

Under following the ski slope rules, ski touring is permitted during the season (20.12.2023-08.03.2024).
Ski touring nights: Each night from 17.00 till 20.30
- Every Wednesday in Mauterndorf
- Every Friday in St.Michael
Ski tours Fanningberg
In order to be able to guarantee a smooth coexistence on the Fanningberg and not to have to strictly prohibit touring, we ask for urgent compliance with the following points:
- Tourers park without exception at the lower parking lot (P2) of the valley station.
- During the main vacations, we ask ski tourers to use public transport to access the Fanningberg.
