Tour de Mur in St. Michael

The Tour de Mur is a pure cycle touring event on the Mur Cycle Path R2, which is run through in 3 day's stages. Participants cover a total of 333 km from the Lungau region in Salzburg across the whole Land of Styria to Bad Radkersburg.

On the day before the start of the Tour de Mur, there will be a warm-up stage from St. Michael towards Muhr with a visit to the giant figure of Samson and the Blasnerhof Farm Museum. In the evening all bikers are invited to a pasta party in the festival hall in St. Michael. The start of the first stage is in St. Michael at the Sonnenbahn valley station. As this tour is not organized as a bike race, there is an open start from 8 to 9.30 am.

Lungau Bike Rally

Every year on August 15, the Tamsweg Cycling Club invites all keen cyclists to the traditional Lungau Bike Rally. This event is not a bike race, but a leisurely ride where everyone sets their own pace and chooses the route they cycle.

Of course, all e-bikers are welcome too.
