The Almbahn at the Katschberg
A fresh breeze is blowing at the Katschberg mountain: the previous three-seater chairlift "Aineckbahn" is being replaced by a modern eight-seater gondola – and will bear the new name "Almbahn".
Even more comfortable, even more spacious and ideal for families, the new Almbahn cable car will take you up to the Aineck mountain station in complete comfort, starting with the 2025/26 winter season.
May 23 to June 6 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday
June 8 to July 3 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.: Monday, Friday, Saturday
July 4 to September 6 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.: daily
September 11 to 13 & October 2 to 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
October 23 to 31 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.: daily
(no cable car service in case of rain, storms, or thunderstorms)
