Guided Hikes in the Salzburg Lungau Region

This star hike starts in the middle of the twilight, shortly after sunset. The meeting point is the Ludlalm car park. It is particularly impressive to see how the sky gets darker and darker above your heads and more and more stars gradually appear in the firmament. The star hikes in summer provide a view of the particularly bright and detailed center of our Milky Way. You will even be able to admire the largest planet in our solar system, Jupiter, with the naked eye.

• Meeting point from Monday to Friday  at 9 am at the bus stop opposite the Musikhaus in St. Michael.
• Incl. shuttle bus to the hiking starting points
• accompanied by a certified hiking guide
• Comfortable final evening with awarding of the hiking pin (always on Fridays)
• Short information evening every Sunday at 8 pm in front of the TVB office in St. Michael

After a short unit of gentle mobilization and self-weight exercises, we hike from the Arsenhaus in Muhr to the serviced hut Rotgüldenseehütte.

Thanks to the combination of movement, mobilization, gentle strength training, and a nutritious breakfast this hike will turn into a holistic experience.

Learn interesting facts about the surrounding area and enjoy the Lungau hut delicacies. The guided hike with Manfred Pfeifenberger takes place every Thursday from July 10 to August 21, 2025.

Wurzi, the forest witch, leads families on a child-friendly hiking trail through the magical Passeggen Forest. On an imaginative journey through the world of forest, weather, and herb witches, even the youngest children get to know the realm of nature spirits – it is the forest witch Wurzi who takes you on this journey!
