In Obertauern, you can enjoy skiing at the highest level: from the village center at 1,740 meters, the slopes run like the spokes of a wheel up to 2,526 meters above sea level. With over 100 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes, the ski resort offers ideal conditions for beginners, advanced skiers and pros alike.

As the "snow bowl of Austria", Obertauern is known for perfect winter sports conditions from the end of November to the beginning of May. No matter where you are in the village, you can be in the middle of the skiing action in just a few minutes. Particularly impressive is the unique "Tauernrunde", which allows you to ski all the pistes, either clockwise or anticlockwise, while enjoying the picturesque mountain scenery.
